Students focus so disproportionately on so-called "top schools", claiming their social status, starting salary, and opportunities make them the schools that are "the most worth it". But are they always so?

HYPSM. T10. Ivy League. Etc, etc, etc.


These are all shorthand phrases for schools that carry prestige among students, academia, and in general.
